May 14th One hundred and thirty two poker players from around the world came to Bionon's Horseshoe Casino to participate in the World Series Poker Championship. This tournament saw eight of the ten WSOP Champions playing for a $1,320,000 pot and another shot at the title of World Poker Champion. At the end of the first day only Seventy two poker players made it to day two. May15th
May16th When day three ended only nine poker players were standing. "Puggy" and Baldwin were not among the final nine .
Nine poker tournament Jesse Alto held the money lead with $369,000 and Jack Keller was right behind him at $318,000. Howard "Tahoe" Andrew came in with the least amount at $27,000. But the first person to leave was Rusty La Page who came in at $59,000. La Page was followed by "Tahoe" and the Allen. Eventually the poker players dwindlde down to Keller and Bryon Wolford . These two poker players went head to head with Keller coming out on top. Keller claimed the title and the $1,320,000 pot. |
