When the Xanadu's builders contemplated their
project, Las Vegas was a very different place than it is today.
Many of the developments that residents and visitors today take
for granted were not even imagined.
Here
is an attempt to recreate Las Vegas circa 1975 through photographs,
statistics, and written reports. Unless otherwise noted,
the material is culled from the Xanadu prospectus.
