Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. is a developer, owner and operator of branded gaming facilities and related lodging and entertainment facilities in markets in the United States and internationally. It wholly owns and operates 11 gaming facilities in the United States located in Lake Charles and Bossier City, Louisiana; Lula, Biloxi, Vicksburg and Natchez, Mississippi; Kansas City and Boonville, Missouri, and Bettendorf, Davenport and Marquette, Iowa. It also owns a 57% interest in, and receives management fees for operating, two gaming facilities in Black Hawk, Colorado. Only one of these gaming facilities operates under the name Isle of Capri and features a tropical island theme. The Company's international gaming interests include a wholly owned casino in Freeport, Grand Bahama, and a two-thirds ownership interest in casinos in Dudley, Wolverhampton, and Walsall, England. It also wholly owns and operates a pari-mutuel harness racing facility in Pompano Beach, Florida. |

1990: The company is incorporated as the Kana Corporation 1992: The company changes its named to Anubis II Corporation, then Casino American, and opens the Isle of Capri Biloxi, the first legal casino in Mississippi 1993: Isle-Vicksburg opens in temporary facility 1994: Permanent Isle-Vicksburg opens 1994: Isle-Bossier City (Louisiana) opens 1995: $50 million improvement project, including new hotel, completed at Isle-Biloxi 1995: Isle-Lake Charles (Louisiana) opens 1995: Isle acquires Pompano Park, a harness racing track located in Pompano Beach, Florida 1996: Isle-Lake Charles opens a new $30 million, 105,000 square foot land- based pavilion with non-gaming amenties, and a second casino riverboat 1997: A limited stakes poker room opened at Pompano Park 1998: Isle-Black Hawk (Colorado) opens (Isle is 57% owner and operator) 1998: Isle formed Capri Cruises, a joint venture with Commodore Cruise Lines, owning a 50% interest and operating the casino on the Enchanted Capri cruise ship based in the Port of New Orleans. 1999: Isle acquires Harrah's Tunica, renames it Isle of Capri Tunica 2000: Isle acquires the Lady Luck Las Vegas (downtown) 2000: Isle acquires the Lady Luck casino in Coahoma County, Mississippi, and rebrands it as the Isle of Capri Lula 2000: Isle acquires the Lady Luck casino in Bettendorf, Iowa, and rebrands it as the Isle of Capri Bettendorf 2000: Isle acquires the Lady Luck casino in Natchez, Mississippi, and rebrands it as the Isle of Capri Natchez 2000: Isle acquires the Miss Marquette casino in Marquette, Iowa, and rebrands it as the Isle of Capri Marquette 2000: Isle acquires the Flamingo Hilton casino in Kansas City, Missouri, and rebrands it as the Isle of Capri Kansas City 2000: Isle acquires Rhythm City-Davenport 2000: Corporate name officially becomes "Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc." 2001: Isle-Boonville (Missouri) opened 2002: Isle-Tunica sold 2002: Lady Luck Las Vegas sold 2003: Colorado Central Station-Black Hawk opens (57% stake) 2003: Colorado Grande-Cripple Creek opens (57% stake) 2003: Isle approved to own casinos in the United Kingdom 2003: Isle acquired a two-thirds interest in Blue Chip Casinos, PLC, (United Kindgom) 2003: Blue Chip-Dudley (UK) opens 2003: Isle opened a new wholly owned gaming facility at Our Lucaya Beach and Golf Resort in Freeport, Bahamas 2004: Blue Chip-Wolverhampton (UK) opens 2004: Blue Chip-Walsall (UK) opens 2005: Colorado Grande-Cripple Creek sold |
