Annual Comparison: Per Room Per Day Statistics
Statewide Nevada casinos with gaming revenue over $1,000,000
This table has comparative annual data for the all-important "Per Room Per Day" metric. Here's how it works: the analyst takes the total daily revenue figures for the categories and divides them by the total number of rooms.
The categories are:
Loc: Number of locations (casinos) reporting
Pit Rev: Revenue from pit (table) games; includes race/sports and keno
Slot Rev: Revenue from slot machines
Food: Revenue from restaurants, snack bars, etc
Bev: Revenue from beverage sales
Payroll: Employee salaries, benefits, etc
Room Rate: The only number the customer sees: the average cost of a room in this market for the year
